Health and performance talks for company teams

Sleep, stress, food, recovery. The four levers most teams ignore and pay for in lost output and sick days. Sixty to ninety minutes, with a half day version when a team wants to go deeper.

    What people walk out with

Most health talks leave a room inspired and change nothing. This one gives people four things they can apply the same evening, and the biology behind why each one works.

The content shifts depending on who is in the room. A sales floor gets different examples than a leadership team. The four levers stay the same.

    01

    Sleep

The one that moves everything else. What poor sleep takes from a team in focus, mood and sick days, and the small changes that fix it fastest.

    02

    Stress

What chronic stress does to digestion, immunity and decision making. How to tell the useful kind from the kind that wears people down.

    03

    Food

Energy across a working day. Why the afternoon crash happens and what to eat instead.

    04

    Recovery

The part high output people skip. How to build it into a week without losing output.

    How it runs

    Keynote, 60 to 90 minutes.

The full talk with questions at the end. Works for a company day, an offsite, a team event or a client evening.

    Half day workshop.

The talk plus hands on work. People map their own week, find their weak lever and leave with a plan on paper. Best for teams under thirty.

    Talk plus workshop.

Two sessions on the same day. This is what Shipix booked.

Languages: English, Dutch, Swedish. Based in Amsterdam and available across Europe. Fee depends on format and audience size, so tell me what you have in mind and I will send a number.

    Who books it

Founders and CEOs who watched their team run flat and want something better than a fruit basket.

HR and People leads with a budget for team wellbeing and a mandate to show it works.

Event organisers who need a health speaker the audience actually remembers.

Peer networks and offsites where the room is full of people who run companies.

    Why me

I got a Crohn's diagnosis and spent the next thirteen years rebuilding my health. That is where all of this comes from.

Along the way I studied the science properly. I hold Certificates of Achievement from HMX, Harvard Medical School's online program, in genetics, immunology and biochemistry. My first degree is in communication and media studies, which is why the science lands in a room instead of going over people's heads.

I wrote a book about the recovery and the biology behind it, The Teacher I Never Wanted. I run two health companies, Sleep Improvers and Get Body Data, where I work with clients on their DNA and blood data. I interview health experts on camera every week, so the material stays current.

I speak about my own body and what it taught me. Audiences can tell the difference.

    From the room

"I hired Nima to do a talk and workshop for my company. It was very informative in a light way, and also fun. People were still talking about it afterwards, and a few of us made small changes that affected us in a big way. I'd highly recommend him to any company looking after their team."
    Avishai Trabelsi, CEO of Shipix
"I went to Soho House Amsterdam to see Nima speak, and it was very inspirational. He spoke about how the body gives us signals when something isn't right, and how much of that comes down to daily habits we often overlook. My main takeaway was how important it is to actually get to know your own body. It gave me several practical things to start paying attention to in my own diet and lifestyle. If you get the chance to see Nima speak, I'd really recommend it."
    Ronja Jansz, Soho House Amsterdam
"A truly inspiring talk by Nima. His knowledge of health is incredibly impressive. You can tell he's genuinely passionate about helping people make informed decisions about their health. I left with valuable insights and would highly recommend attending one of his talks."
    Natalia Chrzanowska, talk attendee
